Epic Pen is one of the best digital pen solutions I have ever used. One of the main things I love about the Epic Pen is that it’s easy to hide features. We can hide our notes with a single click at the bottom. The Epic Pen also remembers our content even when it’s turned off. The epic pen toolkit gives us many cool features, which are Pen & Highlighter, Erase, Undo & Clear, and we can also draw shapes like rectangles and circles. However, it may be available in the pro version. But it is worth using.

However, there is nothing I do not like. But yes, we can expect the Epic Pen to offer more features in the free version. But if you have a professional use, you can consider buying the Pro version.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the free version has very few features, but you can use the pro version; It has some great features like text widget, arrow widget, 24 colors and many more. But I think it is a little expensive.

The most helpful thing about Epic Pen is that it automatically creates an overlay over my desktop, where I can edit, draw or highlight things, I even leave notes sometimes with Epic Pen. The ability to type directly on the screen without changing or adapting the desktop experience. Interact with the audience while sharing the screen. Students see answers, suggestions, and ideas in real time.

What do you not like?
Keyboard shortcuts do not match any other software standards. The initial setup for saving screenshots was tricky; Screenshots do not go to an intuitive default location. It can be very easy to clear the screen without saving your work for later review; I’d like to take a quick question if you’re sure.

The nominal cost of upgrading to Pro was well worth the investment: tools such as standard texts and shapes (eg straight line) are invaluable in effective real-time teacher-student interaction during English lessons. The whole group in particular, but also in small groups. / Individual learning sessions. It is a good idea not to worry about this license and take full advantage of its features. I hope to incorporate more into the new school year.

I can do interactive problem solving with my students in a virtual learning environment by sharing my screen and using the Epic Pen to draw their answers directly to the problems we are working on. This means that I don’t have to create custom slides to solve problems or test questions. Screenshots allow me to share evidence of their thinking and paths to solutions with the students. I can also use these snapshots as evidence of students learning in their portfolios, individually, rather than having to rely on group virtual experiences through pre-made slideshows.

Limited functionality and some compatibility issues with non-Windows operating systems. You can improve and increase the available colors. There is no interface with programs like (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) to save annotations directly in the document, which saves time.
It would be perfect if the Epic Pen was presented in a portable package.

We can easily use our handwriting and doodles to explain things to others. It is especially useful for digital screen recordings or presentations where you need to highlight or annotate multiple items. All important functions can be called via hotkeys. Just choose the drawing tool you would like to use and start drawing on the screen.
